I Still Need Her
I got some news today that I didn’t like. One of the first people that I wanted to call was my mom.
So it got me wondering…when will I ever stop needing her? As a kid I needed her to love me, protect me, feed me…everything. As I grew up I thought I didn’t need her at all. I was a teenager who knew everything. Then I got older and got married and needed her wisdom and friendship. Then I had kids - that wisdom about everything I need even more and I definitely need her friendship.
I realized that I will always need her. I hope that I am not crazy - maybe other people don’t need there mom’s anymore. But when you have a mom that is as great as mine - you will always need her - and want her in your life!
