Where a little about a lot will take you a long way

I went golfing today and was not great - I am very inconsistent and really have a hard time hitting the ball at all. But I always try not to take it too seriously.

So, my friend was teeing off and said that she always remembers, on every shot, what her college coach told her: lipstick to lipstick. I was trying to think of what she meant. Did it have something to do with hitting the ball square? What was it? Just as I was about to ask her she told me.

When you swing the club back your lips should touch your left shoulder. When you finish the swing your lips should touch your right shoulder.

Hmmm…that makes sense. So I tried it on the last few holes. I would say that it worked 75% of the time for me. The reason it did not work the other 25% was all because of me.

I am gonna try this for a while and see how it goes!
