Where a little about a lot will take you a long way

I went out last night with a couple of my friends - friends that are older than me.  Many of my friends are older than me.  They are 15-30 years my senior.  I love them and treasure them.  I learn so much from them evvery time we get together.

Anyway - we went out to a women’s meeting that focused on caucuses.  I know NOTHING and had a lot of questions.  So I listened and soaked as much in as I could.

There were about 15 women there and they were all ages.  I like that.  But I realize, after the meeting, that I was not a big fan of some of the younger women. They are much more judgemental.  The older woman have interestinng stories, are accepting of others and have so much more wisdom.

After the meeting my friends and I went to dinner. I asked them why I prefer the women who have had more birthdays? (Trying to be PC here.)

There answer? They feel I am old soul. I am wise for my years. Hmmm. I have heard that before but I really wonder.

Am I really wise? I make a lot of mistakes. I talk to some of my older friends a lot to get answers to silly questions.  I really have a lot to learn about…well…a lot!
