My First Time (blush)
I ran across this a while ago at Simplenomics and I always said that I wanted to do something like this. Here is the explanation from Business BlogWire:
What’s blogtipping? It’s where you forget yourself for a few minutes and think about another blogger. It’s a win-win. All you do is this: Say three nice things and offer one simple tip.
Still confused? Here’s an example: “Hey Johnny, I like your shoes, your hair and your teeth - maybe you could also put on some deodorant!” See, you’ve already done this sort of thing your whole life. Why should your blog stay so stiff and serious that you can’t go blogtipping once in a while?
So here is my first time blogtipping!!
Jenny Rough - Ok, I did help with this one - but I read it every time it updates!
- Great writing. It can be funny, sad, or thoughtful. Whatever the feeling - it hits it well!
- Simple - it’s not cluttered with ads - it’s about her and that is it!
- It’s honest.
- TIP: I would like to see it updated more often. Right now it is once a week - sometimes more.
- It contains great blog design information.
- I like some of the not-all-biz articles that she has!
- I LOVE open-mic night on Tuesdays. She opens up the comment box from 7:30pm- whenever. It’s a great way to learn and meet some fun people.
- TIP: maybe a little more white space between the sections on the left…?
- It’s great for a chuckle!
- It talks about using humor in business - so it’s a good business tool.
- It is very simple and easy.
- TIP: You could use a formal header - that would make it look more professional.

Aw, thanks Brooke! I do want to update more often, so I will work on that!
Hi Brooke!
Call me Liz, would ya? Aftar you’re a friend at Successful-Blog, I love having you over.
Thanks for the blogtipping. You did it just as Easton set up to be. I don’t think anyone but Easton as tipped me. So, thank you for that too!
Regarding the sidebar. Gosh it’s way not near finished yet. I sure hope you like when it’s done . . . and that you tell me if you don’t .
Liz
Awesome work, Brooke! Very nice to discover this refreshing blog and also to learn from your tips.
